Votion Cloud is officially expanding. To meet the growing demand for high-frequency computing and low-latency data pipelines in South Asia, we have completed deployment of our first bare-metal cluster in Mumbai, India.

This new point of presence (PoP) brings Votion’s raw compute power and edge security infrastructure directly to one of the fastest-growing tech hubs in the world.

Direct Core Connectivity in South Asia

The Mumbai deployment consists of the same high-tier silicon stack powering our Frankfurt and Singapore nodes:

  • AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7900WX series processors.
  • Direct fiber connectivity to major local transits and global tier-1 backbones.
  • Integrated LunarShield v4 Edge Scrubbing nodes.

For developers and enterprises running real-time game servers, financial telemetry channels, or high-throughput API services, this translates to an average local ping time of under 12ms.

Active Threat Scrubbing at the Mumbai Edge

As with all Votion PoPs, the Mumbai cluster operates with active Anycast scrubbing. Volumetric DDoS threats targeting the region are dropped directly at the local network layer before reaching the server’s central operating kernel.

The cluster is fully online and accepting compute deployments starting today. Users can provision instances in the Mumbai region directly from the Client Area dashboard.
